Ohio University’s fashion merchandising department is home to more than 100 students pursuing both majors and minors in retail and fashion production design. Being a student of this major, networking is an important aspect of classes because in the ever-changing world of fashion, getting to know your classmates might be just as important as knowing the work of Marc Jacobs!  The Merchandising department has a few organizations that we can join in which to capitalize on the skills and knowledge that we learn in the classroom, so we can apply it to real world situations, one of them being Fashion Associates. 

 

Fashion Associates is a student based, on-campus organization that helps students who are interested in fashion careers explore the field, and get hands on experience. The annual fashion show is a highlight of our work throughout the year and was a great success.
